I’ve known Tom for 20 years. Jacqui – probably longer than that – she was friends with my little sister in grade/highschool. Tom was the boy with the big head curly hair in grade school that I kicked in the shins – I believe he still has the scar. I love him like a brother, and it’s nice to see him happy – even when he was bitching about all the poses we put him in<3 . I’m sure he’ll make fun of me, and hate me for this blog post, and probably text me a few choice words, but whatever.
Tanya and I had fun with this session – we made Tom do a bunch of outrageous things and he listened, but like I said, he did bitch a few times. Jac – you were up for anything – and had the best model face of life. Jacqui is a very talented artist, and when were trying to come up with something for their session, we stumbled across some inspiration on pinterest – and when we asked for their thoughts, Jacqui was game, and well, these are some of the most fun photos we’ve ever shot. (I’ll say that we got bit badly though by stupid mosquitos….next time, we bring bug spray)
We cannot wait till your wedding in August guys! Xoxoxo
So, we started the session in the south end, in some random field which had pretty light.
Then we moved to another random field – this time closer to my house. This one I tested out with my daughter Nevaeh a few weeks back, but totally forgot about all the bugs. I seriously had 15 bug bites on my arms.
Once we got to the little stream I chickened out and wouldn’t go in. So I made the two of them go in, and Tanya. Which in retrospect is good, because we got two different angles. Now, in my head I wanted them to do the dirty dancing scene. This is how that went (from my view)
Not quite was I was going for, so Tom improvised and went with this:
and Tanya’s view (she got better light)
Then came the fun part…..Painting!
