Sam got me as her shower gift. Sounds weird, but isn’t really. Her mom gave her a Maternity/Newborn session as her baby gift.
Her mother I’ve known going on 9 or 10 years now. I work with her at my day job, and she’s one of my fave people in the entire world. Partly because I love her sense of humour, and partly because she curses like a sailor. Either way, I love her dearly and when she asked if I would take pics of her baby having a baby (well not literally HAVING the baby) I was honoured.
Right off the bat I knew I was also going to love Sam. With the same genuine smile as Mon’s and witty sense of humour, we hit it off right away. Oh and Dave, you’re okay too:)
Guys – thanks for climbing into the stream, striping down in public, hiking through fields, and braving the bugs. Can’t wait to meet the little guy.
