Weekend Re-Cap from Blue Mountain

We’re getting behind again on blogging! I had every intention of blogging a wedding last week, and well the week got away from us. Between wedding consults, Tanya’s newborn sessions during the week and Birthdays things have kept us busy. Thankfully the next Birthday between our two families isn’t until May. And it’s my Birthday. In which I will turn 29ish.

This week I will blog that wedding I meant to last week, plus our engagement session from Streetsville (very excited to blog this one). Plus Tanya will blog some of her many recent newborn sessions.

This past weekend was spent in Collingwood. We started off with a cake smash, and ended with a Blue Mountain Engagement Session. All week we prayed for very specific weather and people were laughing at us. We wished for overcast skies, light snow, no wind and preferably a bit warmer than -35. Well, we pretty much got our wish, except it felt like -35 on occasion it really wasn’t that bad. The village is one of our favouite spots to shoot in any season, but it looks so pretty in the snow. While Tanya and I cannot comprehend why people like outdoor sports in the winter, we don’t mind following our clients who love skating, snowboarding etc to photograph their engagement sessions. We’re the type that prefer staying warm near the fire with ‘grown up beverages’ don’t judge us.

Here’s a peek at some photos.
