Brad + Mel {Southshore Wedding}

PINIMAGE

It’s 11pm on Thursday evening, and I’ve been sitting at my computer all evening trying to organize my favourites from this  southshore wedding, and the task is proving to be very difficult. I loved this wedding for many reasons, but most of all it was pretty cool to see one of my work friends get married (Brad). I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek! I’m going to keep the rambling to a minimum and just comment here and there between photos….

I started the day with Mel and her ladies. It was great to see Krystie Ann who made these girls look FAB!

I always love when Bride and Grooms wait until the photographers get there to open their gifts to each other – makes for really great photos!

As mel got into her dress, one of the cats thought it was fun, and literally wouldn’t get off of her train.

While I was with Mel, Nick photographed Brad getting ready and did some formals with the guys …

Brads grandma passed away the Tuesday before the wedding. I loved the way they honoured her throughout the entire day. Especially at the ceremony when they saved a seat for her and had a memoriam with her favourite flowers.

After the ceremony we started formals. First location – just behind the church!PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

and then we ventured across the street to a random field. The sun couldn’t make up it’s mind what it was doing that day. Cloudy, sunny, cloudy again. We just went with it.PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

and then a quick street shot!

and then we took off to a cool gate house on Shanty Bay Road.

Nick quickly noticed I wasn’t taking photos against the gate house (awkward placement and not large enough for bridal party) so he quickly called a friend who lived on the water and asked if we could pop by. He gratuitously let us use his property. It was stunning to say the least.

Brad must have worked on his GQ face. PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

and finally we ended up at the Southshore Centre.
