Leading up to the big day, the weather forecast never changed. Rain Rain and Rain. That’s all it called for. Considering the ceremony was supposed to be outdoor, this was not good. Tanya and I tend to ignore the weather man that far in advance, because typically he’s wrong. But as the days passed, and the weather looked grim, we did start to get worried. When we spoke with Delaine, we kept up the “ oh don’t worry – it wont rain on your big day” façade, but really we were freaking out inside. This weeding was a shabby chic straight out of Pinterest wedding – and there aren’t a ton of indoor locations in Barrie for photography, but we made sure we had a couple back up plans, and went to bed praying the night before for no rain.
God delivered. It was the perfect day. No rain, the sun peeked out here and there, but for the most part it was overcast, which was perfect for us. We shot everywhere we wanted.
This wedding had amazing details. Delaine and her Martha Stewart mother had thought of everything. Of course, having Posh Beyond there too doesn’t hurt! This wedding was a labour of love for both families. The ceremony was held at Ryan’s parents home, and everyone worked so hard to get the lawn and house ready for everyone. Bryn, the brides brother made the arch for the ceremony, and made the table numbers (which I LOVED!!!).
Krystie Ann and her team were there to make everyone beautiful – we love working with them!
Delaine and Ryan – We had so much fun! Thank you for including us in your special day.
