Tanya and I both like to talk.
And sometimes, when we sit down with a Bride and Groom we talk …too much. I think this may have happened with Kate & Dean. We met them at their home, and chatted around their Dinning room table and hit it off immediately.
They are both so laid back, which we LOVE. Especially the day of – Kate was so calm. Dean looked a bit nervous, but she was so go with the flow – fantastic.
They had originally wanted a Muskoka Wedding, but when they looked at Kempenfelt Conference Centre they fell in love. It had the Muskoka feel – close to home! Plus they got to rent the whole lodge for their family and out of town guests to stay. Such a fantastic idea. We’ve never shot at Kempenfelt before and were so surprised. You would think I would know more about the place since I work for Georgian College (who owns the property) but nope. We fell in love with it too.
Added bonus? Posh Beyond did the flowers/decor, and one of our fave hair dressers EVER, Jen Rodgers, did the hair.
A few awesome things to note about this wedding: The location, The colour purple, the copy of 50 shades I caught on the brides nightstand that I used for ring shots, and last but not least the couples ADORABLE daughter ( we totally cried when they gave her a bracelet during the ceremony).
Enjoy your peek guys!
